How do you earn points at London Dragway?(Classes Top, Mod, Sportsman, JR)

1 Point for entering the race

1 Point for every round won

1 Bonus Point for winning the race



How do you earn points at London Dragway?(Outlaw Classes)

10 Points for entering the race

10 Points for every round won

9 Bonus Points for an event win

7 Bonus Points for an event r/up

5 Bonus Points for #1 qualifier


Double Entries

If you are doubled your first entry down the track will always be your points number and the only number that you will acquire points with.

The only exception is if your points number gets pulled out for a buy run.

You cannot accumulate points for your second entry for any race and you cannot enter points twice in the same class.


Points Tie Breaker Determination Chart (Classes Top, Mod, Sportsman, JR)

At the end of the points season, in the event that we have a tie in one of the above classes, we will use the following chart who wins the tie.

1. Most Event Wins

2. Most Event Finals

3. Most Semis

4. Most Quarter-Finals

5. Most First Round Wins

6. Most Second Round Wins

7. Most Third Round Wins

8. Most Points Races Attended

TOP ET:

Delay Boxes allowed

0-9.00 elapsed times

No down track stutter boxes nor throttle stops allowed

Throttle Stops only allowed in Index Classes

No ET controlled electrical devices

No Ignition Interruption Devices

Cross Talk will be used during eliminations


Modified:

Transbrake allowed

No Delay Boxes

Delay Box must be removed from car

All run bracket

Air shifters and electric shifters are permitted


Sportsman:

7.40 and slower

No Transbrake Equipped cars

No Electric or Air Shifters

OEM automatic shifters are allowed

Door Cars Only

2 steps are permitted for manual transmissions only


Motorcycles:

Motorcycles compete against cars

All drivers must where leather jackets, gloves and boots above ankles.


Junior Dragsters:

7.90 and slower only

7.50 with AA/JD License

All age groups run together

All juniors must be picked up and towed from time slip booth.


Bye Runs:

Bye Runs will be determined by the best reaction time from the previous round. 1st round bye run will be the best reaction time from the last time trial session. Bye Runs do carry over until used. If you are on the bye during a buy back round and loose, You can still earn it later in the event as long as you havent already had a bye.


Lane Choice:

*Odd numbered staging lanes (1-3-5-7) will run in the Right Lane.

* Even numbered staging lanes (2-4-6-8) will run in the Left Lane.

During eliminations where cars are lined up and want the same lane, first car will get lane choice.


Bracket Break Passes:

Break Passes are given as long as you have not made first round of eliminations.


Outlaw Break Passes:

No Break Passes will be awarded in Outlaw Classes if you have made a qualifying pass.


Pit Vehicles:

You must be a licensed driver to operate a golf car, 4 wheeler, etc. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to operate these vehicles on London Dragway premises.


Double entry rule:

Racers may run more than one class. Same class rule follows 2 drivers one car, 1 driver 2 cars, unless specified on an event flyer.


Car Substitution rule:

No car substitutions once first round of eliminations have started.
